Son of Man

A bust-up at Solar Studios, Blackwood last November during the recording sessions for the "Kingdom of Noise" album lead to the enforced departure of George Jones and Bob Richards from Man. In March 2009 George and Bob returned to Blackwood to start to re-record songs they had written for Man.

George and Bob have now recruited a band with the plan to record these songs and perform as "Son of Man".

The band ultimately intend to play the new material live alongside Manband Classics and solo material by George's father the legendary Micky Jones.

We have been invited to film the band in the studio and document this interesting phase in Manband history. Many feel the true spirit and tradition of the Manband is now being carried on by this band. They are hungry to succeed with this project and mean business. Expect some surprises and something special from Son Of Man.
